Brendon_t
There is a person looking to sell 100 bf of Peruvian walnut 6/4 for $600. Pics attached. I am looking to see if anyone wants to split the haul in half? All boards are 6/4, planed to 1.5" thick, and about 5 feet long. The width of the boards varies from 15" to 6", but mostly 8--9" wide. The lot contains about 100 BF total
..Kev
Shame it's a little too far South for me..
Russell Beeman
I wish I had the time, money, or means to split this with you, but I am already starting to pack up to leave California. I'm going to have to start asking about wood soon enough though, I want to buy some as soon as I get to Georgia so that it has some time to acclimate. I'll be reading "The Wood." ResidentEvil
I'm thinking it over with my wife. I live in Vegas, but the drive down there wouldn't kill me.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I highly doubt the savings on materials would justify the gas. I didn't think it was that good of a deal? I didn't think it was that good of a deal? It would be a pretty good deal when compared to what is available locally, but the drive down would kind of make it a wash. Wife and I like to head down to SoCal every so often anyhow, so we would just make a day of it. But the more I think of it, I am going to pass this time. Trying to be frugal right now, and I'm pretty much out of wood storage space. Good luck with the haul.
