Tom Cancelleri
I'm gonna be doing some laminate flooring in my den (next weekish) I kind of dread 150 for a blade for laminate. Anyone know of a decent aftermarket blade for laminate for the Kapex? I saw Amana makes one, however some suggestions from others would be great
Brendon_t
May not be helpful but before my last laminate install, I bought a 2 pack of avanti pro blades at HD for cheap rather than gunk up good blades. All the cuts will be under base board or quarter round. I was actually pleasantly surprised by how well they did.
shaneymack
I have a freud laminate blade i got at the local hardware store. Definitely was cheaper than 150$ and works well.

I have a Delta Sawbuck setup at my parents house, it's big and heavy and cumbersome, and makes a damn mess. I have a Freud laminate blade for it, we used it to do the laminate at my parent's house last year. I guess I could drag it here, and not use the Kapex. Save yourself 150$ but you wont have the awesome dust colection of the kapex
bgreenb
Forgive my ignorance, but can you not use a non festool blade on the kapex? Is it because of the arbor size? But yeah I'd be going with the delta. Sucks not to be able to use your new toy but $150 for a laminate blade would make me cry.
