Sac Posted December 5, 2010 Report Share Posted December 5, 2010 are you trying to seal the oak, or are you trying to fill the pores? If you are just trying to seal it, then a seal coat of shellac I think will do the trick. If you are trying to fill the pores, then that is a whole different process.
