Bobby Slack
Hey guys ... are there any videos to accomplish this? I looked online and could not find any guidance. This Gaucho is not mechanically inclined but unless I do it, this will never happen
ncfowler
I know you may want to do this your self, but for the check of it, see if there is a motor repair shop in your area, or a small tool repair shop, most times you can remove just the motor part of the saw and get it repaired, but remember that the gear housing will be open and needs to be protected, and can be cleaned and greased, Most times these saws are nothing more than an upside down circular saw, Edited October 29, 2015 by ncfowler
wdwerker
Probably a good idea to replace the bearings too. Get an estimate from a repair shop or buy a refurb from CPO.
Bobby Slack
I already bought the armature and brushes. I will look at getting bearings as well. This saw needs to run nine more months before I get my sawstop Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Bobby Slack
I'm taking the saw to a repair shop in an hour. This poster dude is not mechanical at all.
