The 2 flaws so close together on the left side would have looked better with some more distance between them, but it's hard to plan the use of knots and flaws. When I was picking the pieces it came down to what rough sawn piece would actually be big enough for each piece. If I had to mill and dry another log the project have been extended a few months haha. Great work, Nathan! Put it to the test yet? (rigorous sleeping) It better hold up, it's waaayyy overbuilt. I used 3/4 ply everywhere and I'm sure I would have been fine with 1/2 inch.
