new2woodwrk
Here are a few pics of my attempt at dust collection for my tool carts. And here are my Eureka moments - may help someone else? I have 2 machines with small dust ports. I just happened to try an old piece of hose I had laying around and what do you know... EUREKA! It worked. The secret is... It's a pool filter hose! One side fit into my Skil Band Saw and the other fit the OD of my HD sander I know it's a jerry-rigged system but I hooked it up to my shop vac and it works - that all that matters to me
Woodenskye
I would think using as little flex hose as possible would be best, but if it's collecting the dust I guess I would be wrong.
