R Chandrasekar
Hi all, I am trying to design a candle holder with various coloured woods. I was wondering whether there is a possibilty of dyeing woods with different colors, gluing them to form a blank and then turning them? Will the dye penetrate deep into the wood, so that when turned the dyed wood will be visible? Many thanks
Mark J
No, the dye molecules won't penetrate very deep as compared how deeply your tools are going to cut.
wtnhighlander
Can you add dye to a stabilizing resin?

Turns very good as well.
