OmmiWella43
I was taken by a blog where they reviewed DEWALT DWS779. The rotating speed and weight of the saw are what I need. It consumes around 1800 Watt energy which also goes decent for me and also comes with an affordable price. However, I need a real experience rather than these web reviews. Any woodworker out here has used this DEWALT model. Then please drop your reviews. If you have a good experience with any other compound miter saw then please do suggest me. Thanks for any inputs. Mark J
Welcome to the forum. I have not used the DeWalt SCM saw, so I can't answer directly. I am happy with my Makita LS1212, but it's 16 years old and I don't think they still make it.
drzaius
This is a spam post to drive traffic to that "review" site.

There was a nearly identical post on another forum, only asking about a Hitachi saw, with a link to the same site.
Mark J
Thanks, I had my suspicions (and did not click the link). There were two other seemingly innocuous postings from him/her in other threads so I decided to give the benefit of the doubt.
