joe mendel
It stands 101-inches tall, and is 34-1/2-inches wide. The column was replaced with a larger diameter, and the black feet are place holders because the permanent feet are too ornate to expose to damage during construction. The "drawing" was just a brain-storming session which was altered a bit once I got going on the project. However, the proportions were held very close to the original concept.
wtnhighlander
Joe, this is an impressive work of art, but it looks as if it has some practical function, in addition to being a sight to behold. Will you share any pics of it doing whatever it is meant to do?
Coop
Joe, when I first viewed this, it contained a link which I clicked on and got some weird s*#t on my screen. Was this a legit link? I’m probably being a little cautious but now it’s gone which makes me wonder.
joe mendel
It does have a practical purpose. Put it in any room and it will collect every bit of dust in the air. It is kind of a Galapagos Island for dust bunnies. Hopefully, the YouTube link works now.
wtnhighlander
That light show is beautiful, like laterns through a flowing fountain. Really cool!
