B. Brinkley Posted July 5, 2022 Report Posted July 5, 2022 Hello all, For several years I have owned this lathe that I found at a yard sale. I know it's a Craftsman, but I suspect it my be a re-badged Walker Turner maybe. I have not found much info on it so anything would be appreciated. It has a 3/4"-16 headstock and M1 tapers. I added the motor as it came without when I found it. I know it's not much of a lathe, but I would like to get into small bowl turning and such to see if I enjoy it. Any tips on using this little lathe would be much appreciated! Thanks! 1 Quote
wtnhighlander Posted July 5, 2022 Report Posted July 5, 2022 All I can tell you about the lathe is that you about to follow it down a deep rabbit hole. Turning is very addictive! Quote
B. Brinkley Posted July 5, 2022 Author Report Posted July 5, 2022 I found out this morning that it is an Atlas lathe made in the early Thirties. I would have never guessed it to be around 90 years old! 1 Quote
