sbarton22
Does anyone use sanding mops? What kind of experience do folks have with them. As they do not seem to be readily found, I am suspecting that reviews aren't great? Maybe they are just a hidden gem? Love to hear what people think. flairwoodworks
I got mine from Stockrooms Suppy. They do a good job and get used on many carved projects. I bought two grits to sand the scallops of my Shell Boxes.
Keggers
They work fine. I bought mine from Rockler. I used it to sand the profiles on my rails and stiles for my cabinet doors. If I'm remembering right, mine came as a 220 grit.
sbarton22
If you have a nice edge, with it just knock it down or really round it over? By the way, those scallops look great! What was your technique to create that?

What was your technique to create that? I used a carving gouge to make the scallops. The mops don't round over the arrises.
