gigtx
Hi all. I am thinking about making an outside bar using natural edged cedar planks. The area it will be in is covered, but am wondering on what type of finish/sealer to use that will make it a durable product. For an inside bar I would use the bar finish of course. We live in South Texas and have quite a bit of humidty to deal with also. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thank you Gayle
jab73180
I would use either a spar varnish or an exterior stain depending on the look you are going for.

I wouldn't stain the cedar-it's Colorado Red Cedar and has a beautiful color. Again, thanks:) Gayle
wjffineww
Euro X by M. L. Campbell, best exterior product on the market. You will pay for it though.
