mn pete
Well I'm up way too late after having four days off...I was supposed to get some rest, right? I did get a good start on my first foray into bent lamination. It's a small project, but I'm already itching to try some bigger things. Lots of pics at the blog. http://secondwindworkshop.blogspot.com/2011/05/four-day-weekend.html

TimV
Nice job Pete, anxious to see what it looks like finished. I've always used a clamping plate over the material rather than clamping directly onto the strips themselves. Maybe with a smaller lamination it is not necessary. mn pete
Good tip Tim. Fortunately there was no marring on the piece from the clamps. I will need to use a little less glue next time. I'm in for some serious sanding on this first one!
mn pete
Here you go...six arcs completed and sanded. I've got a couple different ideas how to incorporate them on the box lids, so I'll be experimenting this next weekend.
joestyles
Nice colors. They are very consistent too. Nice first try! I hope my first try will be as good looking as this is.
