Popular Post Tom King Posted February 22 Popular Post Report Posted February 22 Our 40 year old Vermont Castings propane heater stove in the original part of our house would let me light the pilot but the burners wouldn't come on. I took the front off, all the logs out and did the cleaning it needed anyway, but the main burners still wouldn't come on. I figured being 40 years old that the old thermocouple must have quit working, so I ordered a replacement from Supplyhouse for something like $16. Going to replace it today, I found that both the connections were loose so decided to tighten them with a screwdriver and give it a try. I now have a spare, new thermocouple. 4 2 Quote
Tpt life Posted February 23 Report Posted February 23 That sounds suspiciously like my repair process. 2 Quote
