Hasselback
Well, the topic says it all. Do you for see any problems using a full kerf Woodworker II on a DeWalt contractor table saw? Does it have enough power? G.
Eric.
Should be okay on most 4/4. You'll probably run into some trouble with any of the harder woods thicker than that. I had the Dewalt for a while and it would occasionally bog down in even 8/4 pine with a thin kerf rip blade. Adding a splitter might help a little, but it's just not a very powerful machine. Forrest sells the WW in thin kerf, too...I might consider it for that saw.
knotscott
I don't recall DeWalt having a true contractor saw, so just for clarification do you mean a portable jobsite saw like the DW744 or DW745, or are we talking about a full size saw like the DW746 hybrid? The 746 would spin a full kerf pretty well in all but very thick ripping, but the smaller saws might struggle a bit more depending on the thickness and density of the wood. The portables generally have an easier time spinning thin kerf blades.
Hasselback
It's a DW745. This one: http://www.amazon.com/DEWALT-DW745-10-Inch-Job-Site-Capacity/dp/B000HXT2N6/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1320580091&sr=8-1 If you guys have any tips for performance with that blade on that saw, I'd appreciate it.
