duckkisser Posted May 13, 2012 Report Share Posted May 13, 2012 ok some lathes have a head that can be spun and use as a outboard lathe for biger bowls. well when i was cleaning the lathe i noticed the heads crank is threded. is it possible to put a chuck on there and turn. even if it was just for sanding the bottoms of bowls? i dont want to break my lathe so anyone that knows anything about lathes specificly the 460 please put in some input.
