rubus
Hi folks, Just curious if most of you are using the Rubin or garnet sand paper. I just purchased the 6" orbital and the dealer thought the garnet lasts longer in wood applications. Thanks Shane
Trip
Rubin is generally prefered for bare wood applications. The abrasive fractures cleanly to expose new grit w/ clean edges. It's main drawback is short life. I'll upload the Festool Abrasive Summary to the Reference Library...
Nick2cd
I hear nothing but good things about granat.
estesbubba
In addition to Festool papers I've had great results with Klingspor PS33. With the dust collector all paper lasts a long time.http://www.woodworkingshop.com/category.aspx?id=21&f1=6%22+X+17+HOLE&f3=STEARATE+A%2fO
