woodbutcher74
I was working on a project this morning. Drew out my cut lines on the pieces and laid out the holes that needed to be drilled on the opposite edge for some spindles. Got so excited about using my new bandsaw that I jumped right in and sawed the patterns. I was admiring how nice and smooth the cuts were when I realized how much easier it would have been to the drill the holes while the opposite edge was still square. Oh well. Pulled out the old doweling jig and managed a save. Damn new machines.

Brendon_t
I would tape the cut off piece back on to drill But yes, I have.

ColinF
Yeah, I've done that for sure! Get a little excited about a new machine or trying out a new technique and BAM! all screwed up...
