amateur eric
My mother is getting her kitchen walls painted after 20 years of living there. She was doing a deep cleaning spree on the kitchen and she bleached her stained cabinets. They went from having a high gloss shine to a dull satin shine now. Aside from 20 rattle cans of poly, what can be done to get the shine back. Note, she nor I have a spray system to spray anything with ease Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
xxdabroxx
I think I would try something like a paste wax on them before going that far. Or even pledge or something.
amateur eric
I was hoping for a wipe on or brush on oil or wax or something before I would have to resort to something so extreme Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Chestnut
If that doesn't do the trick scuffing them with sand paper and just using a wipe on gloss/semi-gloss poly might work. 1 minute ago, amateur eric said: I was hoping for a wipe on or brush on oil or wax or something before I would have to resort to something so extreme Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Paste wax would be easy applies with a rag and wipes off the dried film, just like waxing a car. It would be the most odor free and least amount of mess. Wondering if rubbing out the finish like steve from woodworking for mere mortals would work. BonPacific
I agree with everybody else, try a wax polish.
