mlehikoinen
Too new to woodworking to really choose a specialty or favourite style. Loving it all. Power tools, hand tools, beaver teeth. Have some problems with identifying styles of furniture. What is it that makes a piece Mission or Arts & Crafts? It's all so confusing! Maybe I should stay this way and I'll come up with some funky hybrid of everything My background is ex military, working in the IT industry. Woodworking is the great release from the humdrum of day to day life of driving a desk. Married in 2006 to a wonderful woman and had our first child in March 2010. Sac
I just happen to be former military with an IT background as well.. I think that you will notice that there are a lot of IT guys that do woodworking.. Just come into the chatroom sometime and you will find that out. I too love all aspects of woodworking. I find it to be a very relaxing hobby,... that is until I screw something up. Welcome to the forum..

LordLQQK
Sweet. Anyone making a wooden computer case? Seen a few of them done. While they look great, wood has an issue with static and heat, making constant dusting needed. LQQK
mlehikoinen
So does aluminum well, at least from a dust POV Seen a few of them done. While they look great, wood has an issue with static and heat, making constant dusting needed. LQQK
