I was going through some older video's this morning and noticed it was the 4year anniversary of TWW(little bit late).Just wanted to say thank you both for all your hard work and everything that you do for us.I know I have learned a ton from you and also from the community that you started.Thank you again and I know their will be many more anniversaries to come.

Let me add my thanks to Jamison's. I remember that day when Marc answered the latest in a series of rapid-fire questions I had sent out, and said, "Why don't you try the forum?" Marc, you've created something larger than yourself, and that's gotta feel great. Seriously - Thank you.

Can you say a few words about what you and Nicole were expecting when you started out?

Speech! Speech!

Congratulations! Nothing more rewarding than a good partner in life.

Amen!

Congratulations and happy anniversary to Marc and Nicole. And thank you for all that you do. I've learned more here than I ever have in a classroom and it's because of your hard work and dedication to the craft.

Let me add to the cacophony :)

Six months ago, I saw myself as an aspiring woodworker but with very limited abilities. I had essentially stopped any new projects due to 'skill fear', IE "I can't do that, I'll just muck it up". Then, I came upon this group and I have to say that this community's "Heck, give it a try, what's the worst that can happen" gave me the confidence to do just that. Now, a kitchen table, solid wood workbench (Yes, I know, not really the best project to learn 'portable' skills, but it was a great mental boost) and a some turned bowls later, I can say it's been a great ride.. All projects that I look at now and see some flaws in, but overall came out well. Fixing many of those flaws helped me learn yet other skills :)

My next goal is to get my shop something resembling 'ship shape' and all my 'honey-do' projects done, and hopefully get a guild membership in the new year..

Anyway, a BIG thanks to Marc and Nicole, along with everyone else in the larger community that helps out here, happy anniversary, and many happy returns...

David
