Freddie
I was going through my photos again and found this project from a few years ago, I figured some of the music guys would appreciate this. My friend wanted to replace his old desk to have more rack space and also have them angled in the cabinets so they are easier to see and access. He sent me over a rough layout one day and I plugged the drawing into sketch up. I spent the time making one case side, then it was used as a template to route out the remaing case sides. It was a fairly simple and budget friendly project, using birch plywood and those finger jointed pine lam panels from lowes. He just dropped the materials off to me and I simply turned it into the drawing he sent me. Funny thing is I took the desk into the spray booth and hit it with acrylic conversion coating, and friend came to watch me spray and wanted to take home that day. No problem for me, he will understand later why this was silly. He called me later and said he was high in his basement from the finish off gassing.

pghmyn
My dad is pretty big into playing guitars. Been at it for 45 years. He would probably love this setup. I'd say that setup looks pretty damn professional.
..Kev
Those look awesome Freddie.. I remember building the ones for my studio but, they weren't angled like that.

Freddie
Thanks guys. It was a very simple project, and it serves its intended purpose. I love to see these old pictures of my shop when it was a mess, it still is a mess just with some better tools now.
