Tom Cancelleri
When i built my first guitar, radius blocks seemed ridiculously over priced, so I made a jig to make my own.
wtnhighlander
Looks pretty cool, Tom. Did you have footage of the jig in action?
JosephThomas
Nice. 2nd the request for footage in use. Also, have you posted photos of your guitar builds in the project forum? Let us know which one(s) you radius'd with this jig!
Tom Cancelleri
I don't have video of it in use. I built it 8 years ago, before phones took video. I guess i could make a new base for my current trim router and just show it in use. I'll expand on this, and do a more in depth video of it showing more of the construction. I'm trying to remember the math I used when I determined the swing for the radius. I'm gonna be building another guitar starting this winter. Black limba, Sitka spruce, ebony fretboard and bridge, and probably mahogany neck. Although I have some killer flame maple for neck blanks.
