Alan G
I have been modeling our new kitchen in sketchup make 2017 and would like to export images. The options I have found native to Sketchup leave something to be desired. What do you guys use to export quality images or to make a decent rendering? Alan G
Yah my issue was with the very low res. Unless you have the view looking straight on to an object the vertical and horizontal edge lines are very jagged. Look bad.
drzaius
Don't know how to help with the Export feature, but if you print to a pdf printer & set the print resolution to 600 dpi, the results are very good.
Denette
I forget where, but buried somewhere in the print dialog is the option to print a vector image. That should look a little more crisp. (Now that I think about it, it may be buried somewhere after export>PDF and take the form of a checkbox) And as drzaius said, printing at 600 dpi (or the highest resolution your printer can muster) will also improve things.
Bob Lang
You might try editing the line settings in the Styles window. Turn everything off except "edges" and the lines will look nicer. Bob Lang
Alan G
Thanks for all of the advice. I will try a few of the ideas and see if it helps.
