This is for @wdwerker, Steve, I didn't want to hijack @Derek_PNW thread.  My motivation for buying these, was two fold.  1.  I don't think I will ever get away from ply, and 2.  my right arm likes to hurt....a lot. (long story)  For both reasons I bought the Grizzly slider attachment, and  the Jessem stock guides.  The slider replaces my sled, and the stock guides help with maintaining stock to fence contact.  I have had the guides for a little over a month.  What can I say, they work as advertised. They are a quality product, I bought them at the same time I replace my Grizzly fence with the VSCT fence.  For any stock over 3" wide they pull the stock into to fence and, eliminate any burning, especially with cherry.  For stock under 3" wide I have to take them off the fence.  Cutting large pieces of ply they are fantastic.  I don't have fight the ply into the fence and so far every cut has come out square.  My only hesitation is cutting stock less that 6" wide because I can't use my Gripper, but that is O.K. because my arm hurts less and I just grab a different push stick.  What can I say, they work as advertised, and let me do what I like to do.

I think its great that some of us with physical considerations (I mentioned my shoulder, elbow and my hand plane issues in another thread) can use these aftermarket items to keep us in the game.

The Grr-Ripper is designed to straddle the blade.  I use it to cut thin stock on a regular basis.

Thanks for the info Bob ! I too have used my Grripper straddling the blade to cut narrow strips. I get repeat orders from a commercial display client and I cut over 900 - 1 1/32 wide strips one day and the same number of laminate strips the next day. Safe and accurate parts repeatedly, boring but profitable !

I might even add I also used them as crosscut stop blocks yesterday as well. I agree with everything Bob said but from an inexperienced woodworker perspective! Someday I hope to be cutting 900 pieces of stock for profit.
