Mick S
We have been fortunate to have a very skilled guitar maker here in Santa Fe, Michael Thames, join our CNC class about halfway through the semester. He recently took delivery on a Shapeoko router and I've been working with him on VCarve to bring his designs into reality. This week's lesson was on the balsa portion of a double top guitar. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R4e4V8Oj5MI&t=11s David - you should think about contacting this guy. He's the real deal in classical guitars. He's on somewhere around #975.
difalkner
Thanks, Mick. I've actually been chatting with Michael since early April when I met him on SMC in the CNC area there. Really nice guy and very talented. I knew he would be going to your class and I'm glad you were able to help him. Good video on the Balsa core.
