collinb
The Rubbermaid 20 gallon is a nice fit for the dust deputy.
Brendon_t
Yeah shouldn't be a problem with a shop vac. A CT or similar dust extractor would collapse that thing in a hurry.
drzaius
Actually, if you plug the hose, a vacuum will collapse it faster than a dust collector blower. Vacuums are capable of much higher static pressure.
Brendon_t
IF you plug the hose which is not how we use them. Sure we put some restriction on but it shouldn't be near the pressure build of no flow. Point being, it will collapse if youer not careful. collinb
The can will collapse under certain conditions. Fortunately it does not collapse all the way. And I can ate least plane or saw for a couple hours before having to empty it. And because it doesn't approach full for a longer time I get less material pulled into the vac. It seems that when the 5 gal got near-full a lot more got sucked into the vac because that became the path of least resistance.
