So do I!

I have many WW books, but you are absolutely right. Pekovich's style is exactly as you've described. He really challenges you to think about design, something that i really struggle with. Excellent, excellent book!

I too enjoy Mike's straight forward teaching style.  He reminds me of Gary Rowgowski in this.  If you are not familiar with Gary you can find his articles in Fine Woodworking mag and his videos here and there on the web.  The videos are a bit dated but the content is valid and easy to watch.  Gary's work covers a wide range of styles:

Carpentry is not just my hobby, it is my passion and an integral part of my life. I love creating something unique with my own hands, embodying ideas in wood. At the university I skipped classes so that I could cut something out with my father. Then I used assignment writing services, found https://ca.edubirdie.com/assignment-writing-services for this. I have read many books on carpentry over the years. Read everything there is, I can’t choose just a few.

From the basics to advanced techniques, each book brings new knowledge and inspiration. Through this learning process, I not only expanded my skills, but also found in this art a source of peace and creative expression.
