Popular Post curlyoak
The picture is distorted. They are 8" X 14". Cherry, a little maple and a touch of walnut. I've been invited to a Christmas dinner. Told not to bring anything. It is hard to buy a gift for them. I think they will like the board. If I'm setting up to make this board it makes no sense to me not to make a run of several. I have been making this board design for a long time. I lost track of who I gave them to. But if it has been a few years or more, then a fresh one might be welcome. If someone tells me they already have one, then I'll ask them if they would like it refinished. I use drug store mineral oil.

I hate the anxiety and pressure of deadlines. The invitation to diner tonight motivated me to come up with something. And I was given plenty of time. So these were no stress deadline boards.I like to do things long in advance. That gives me time to do nothing. That adds to the relaxation of life. A feeling of well being. When I must deal with a deadline I still try to keep a grin on my face!
curlyoak
I think with the vanda orchid flower and the cutting board, I'll get past the front door.
