Popular Post gee-dub
While moving things about I came across a jig accessory that I had cut out but never put together. Took a short break from schlepping lumber to finish this thing off. I had to cut the dovetails in the face plate. The intention is to grip things to the face plate and be able to safely move them through operations. I added a couple of slots so it can also be attached to the new sled although that is not the main use. By its nature it could be used as a tenoning jig. I have a cast iron tenon jig that I prefer. However, my cast iron one will not allow me to make angled tenon cuts Or even more unusual cuts. I designed it with the intention of using it at the tablesaw, router table, drill press, and edge sander.
wtnhighlander
Glenn, where did that yellow handle come from? Reminds me of handles sold for outdoor play sets.
Tom King
You could use that to make the sawhorses we talked about in this thread:

Tom King
I googled playset handles and a bunch came up, even from Lowes: https://www.lowes.com/pd/Creative-Cedar-Designs-2-Pack-Safety-Handles-Yellow/1002779068?cm_mmc=shp-_-c-_-prd-_-sol-_-ggl-_-PLA_SOL_242_Tools-Watering-Storage-Sheds-_-1002779068-_-online-_-0-_-0&ds_rl=1286981&gclid=CjwKCAjwrZOXBhACEiwA0EoRD558pfpciJmUg_A7L_XvgCOxl205g8xhNZC_DOU6fjJZLSO011ANoBoCVscQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds

I have used them on multiple sleds over many years. The cost per use is probably too small to reasonably measure
wtnhighlander
Those handles are big and comfy, really a good choice for such use.
Popular Post gee-dub
Woke this one up to add that I used the fixture as a tenon jig this morning on some planters for LOML. Worked fine.
