Ronn W Posted April 11 Report Share Posted April 11 I assume that you are taping to keep the varnish off of the glass. I usually reomve tape as soon as the varnish or paint has started to skin over. If You did 2 or more coats, I would think that the first coat would get hard and might not allow the tape to be removed leaving a nice straight line.
