Tom Cancelleri
I'm cleaning up my shop after 100+ hours in the shop over the last few weeks. I've rounded up the majority of cutoffs and put them in a large box. I foresee a lot of projects with contrasting splines.
TerryMcK
Could make interesting fuel for the shop stove too
rodger.
Yup, that's fiewood. I wouldn't have the space to hang onto such small cutoffs.
wdwerker
Only the most expensive, rare exotic's scraps that size get kept. I fill those produce boxes( the ones with handle holes) and give them to freinds and neighbors as kindling.
..Kev
If memory serves me, that candle holder was a really nice piece of wood.. Maybe enough there to make some handles or drawer pulls from..
Tom Cancelleri
The majority of that will be burned in my fire place. There are some pieces that are small, square, and usable for knobs and various inlays or splines. That box consists of bloodwood, cherry, walnut, sycamore, poplar, oak, ebony, a small piece of purple heart, some ambrosia maple, birds eye maple. The useable pieces will be saved, all the reindeer negatives and worthless unusable pieces go up in flames.
