Popular Post Willy
My nephew is a big ol boy and said he needed a big rocking chair to fit his big a@@. I stumbled on a pretty cool picture one day and decided to try to duplicate it. I tracked down a guy who was selling cedar logs. I bought a couple of 15 inch trunks and a bunch of smaller trunks. Sawed up the trunks into the planks you see for the back and seat. The rockers are from larger pieces of the trunk. Evened out the smaller trunks and began figuring out what the measurements should be. This is the first project I made without any plans and must say it turned out pretty good. He doesn't know I built it so he in for a big surprise.

I didn't want to put very much finish on it so I used one coat of TWC Clear. Just enough to hopefully keep the color.
