Beechwood Chip
I ran across showing how to make a marble track toy set. He uses a bunch of neat jigs.
Byrdie
I've been following Mathias' blog for a long time. Found him looking for a way to draw and cut wooden gears and was drawn (sucked) in by the tools, specifically the bandsaws, he's designed and built. In fact, I found my way to this community round about because of Mathias' blog. He and Steve Ramsey (Woodworking for Mere Mortals) did a gag video for April fools. Because of that I started following Steve's blog. Steve had earlier done a gag video interview with this "Woodwhisperer" guy and so I thought I'd check him out as well. I got up to date on all his videos, starting reviewing the old WTO broadcasts on iTunes (still haven't got to the point where Shannon joins the show) although I listen to the new ones as they are released. From there I joined this forum. Mathias has some neat ideas and diverse interests. It's also interesting seeing some of his family history and where his woodworking interest comes from.
wtnhighlander
Byrdie, it's almost spooky that we followed the same trail of bread crumbs to get here!
