I'm always amazed when I see someone like Maloof or Krenov using a band saw so skillfully and with such artistry. They seem to be able to see into the wood and visualize the final shapes they want to bring out. jhl.verona Posted February 20, 2014 Report Share Posted February 20, 2014 While the 'fireside chat' environment of the interview was fairly obviously contrived for the programme, Sam's anecdotes show both an ardour, but also great acumen. Both a great woodworker and a great businessman. Some time ago I enjoyed watching the "Sam Maloof A woodworking experience" videos. They seem to have become difficult to find since the original website now seems to be defunct. This rather rudimentary page still has them though.
