Lawrence Brown Posted November 10, 2010 Report Posted November 10, 2010 Coming this fall: Marcole and Narc! The story of a hard-hitting cop with a passion for woodworking ,and his paramedic wife, who sews up the wounds and pulls out the slivers, all the while working the dangerous life as an informant for the FBI. <insert explosion of wood shop here> Quote
Lawrence Brown Posted November 10, 2010 Report Posted November 10, 2010 Tonight on Marcole and Narc: "Going Against the Grain" "Hmm, I think this body's been posed." "How can you tell?" "The planer in his hand is a #4-1/2, but the wound was clearly made by a #7, and where's the blade?" Bends down to inspect the planer. "So, did you find any WSR on his hands?" (Wood Scrape Residue) "As a matter of fact, no. He was clean." "Right. As I suspected. The blade from the planer is also missing." Stands up and walks around, running his fingers across the impossibly-clean workbench. "This shooting board has never been used. And look around. There's no #7 here, not even a slot for it in the clearly schwarz-inspired tool cabinet. Any self-respecting Neanderthal would know you can't get a flat joint edge more than a foot long without a #7. Something else is going on here. Who'd want this guy dead? Unless... Pull up the browser history on that laptop again... Just as I thought. He's been posting a lot on The Wood Whisperer forums. What was the last post he made?" The wood scene investigator does a quick search. "Looks like something to do with 'Normites'?" "Aha. That explains it..." At that moment, a beeping is heard, and the dust collector is remotely activated. "Everybody out! Now!" <Dust collector explodes with dust, wood chips, and flames everywhere> Quote
jwatson Posted November 10, 2010 Report Posted November 10, 2010 find me a producer and a network we have a show! Quote
gardnesd Posted November 11, 2010 Report Posted November 11, 2010 I just shot myself in the head with a pin nailer. Quote
Lawrence Brown Posted November 11, 2010 Report Posted November 11, 2010 That's next weeks show! Sorry. I got on a role and ended up taking this thread even more "off topic" than it originally was. Perhaps it's time for this to be moved to a more appropriate forum? Quote
Ben@FineWoodworking Posted November 11, 2010 Report Posted November 11, 2010 I think Marcole would gladly let this thread meander from where it started. Quote
thewoodwhisperer Posted November 11, 2010 Report Posted November 11, 2010 Yes....yes I would, lol. Quote
Lawrence Brown Posted November 11, 2010 Report Posted November 11, 2010 That was kinda the intent Anyway, move this to off-topic? Quote
