davewyo
Sort of wood related...Here's a guy getting whacked while chainsawing a tree: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PdARAo8VHJg D
wtnhighlander
Been there. Worked for a landscaper / arborist right out of high school. Highest pucker factor ever experienced was topping a tree just they way he did in that video. Guy is lucky to be alive.
Eric.
His notch was too small. Apparently non-existent from the perspective of the camera. That incident was totally avoidable.
wdwerker
Hinge was too thin and snapped too early. I had a tree taken down and the guy had to hang on for dear life as the trunk swayed back and forth after he topped it. Talk about pucker factor! Boatworks Today
You see what happened there... The tree was subject to pre-dominant winds all it's life thus creating internal stress in the trunk. End result? Kickback! BooYa :-). ~ Any fans of Cliff Claven from Cheers :-).
