Bmac
I'm having some electrical work done in my shop, putting in a few more 220 and 110 outlets. I see that the Laguna 14/12 bandsaw can have it's wiring reconfigured to run on 220v. Has anyone done this, how's it improve the bandsaw, and any reason not to do it? Tpt life
Most convertible motors show little difference between the set up variations. The commonly expressed benefit is lowering the amperage draw at the circuit panel. This can be helpful if your shop is challenging your available supply. drzaius
Wiring for 240V is good to do if you have a long run to the panel, otherwise you'd never know the difference.
