2nd floor
I need to put a quick plaque together this weekend for Tuesday. Looking for advise one quick finish that will give a nice semi gloss to full gloss appearance and be fairly durable. Any advise? Thanks in advance
difalkner
Lacquer or Shellac will work. I make plaques out of Walnut for a local trophy shop and finish all of them in Nitrocellulose lacquer. David
RichardA
What David said. Dries quick, leaves the gloss you want.

Jfitz
Sounds like you've already decided - good call. +1 to lacquer. Rattle can lacquer should make that easy to get a few coats on in one day.
