wtnhighlander
'Nut needs a mule team. Still common around here to see folks pulling timber from small lots with mules. Negligable damage to the landscape, compared to a skidder, or a truck. Come on down to Columbia TN, Drew! We have the best mules in the world! Columbia sources the riding stock used to tour the Grand Canyon.
Chestnut
Luckily the trees I have access to are typically fallen in the road right of way or really close. Most I'dhave to do is tug it a few feet with my pickup. I like the idea of a mule though, I could try and sell it as a pet and maybe could have that instead of the dog that Megan wants.
wtnhighlander
Dunno about a pet mule, but Anne Briggs seems to think highly of her miniature donkeys! No bigger than @RichardA's little house-mouse, Boo.

RichardA
Aw, he's just wondering why I'm taking a picture, when the real thing is there to play with.
