jimmyResonic Posted March 16, 2020 Report Share Posted March 16, 2020 Hi there, I am currently looking at setting up a table saw with long table extensions that will allow me to cut PET acoustic boards. My question is, does anyone know a firm that makes custom sized table extensions that would sit around 1.5 - 2m on either side of the table saw? Preferably needs to be aluminium so the acoustic boards slide well. I will be cutting boards that come in sheets of 2400 x 1200 x 24 mm - usually cut down into 2400 x 300 x 24 mm strips so the tables need to sit in line with the blade not adjacent to it. What you are describing are infeed and outfeed tables. Tom is right, a sliding table would be your best bet. They are intended for breaking down sheet goods.
