Table Saw setup

Hi there,

I am currently looking at setting up a table saw with long table extensions that will allow me to cut PET acoustic boards.

My question is, does anyone know a firm that makes custom sized table extensions that would sit around 1.5 - 2m on either side of the table saw? Preferably needs to be aluminium so the acoustic boards slide well. I will be cutting boards that come in sheets of 2400 x 1200 x 24 mm - usually cut down into 2400 x 300 x 24 mm strips so the tables need to sit in line with the blade not adjacent to it.

Cheers

Are you in North America, the Europe, those lands down under?  What's available will depend on where you live.

What you are describing are infeed and outfeed tables.  Tom is right, a sliding table would be your best bet.  They are intended for breaking down sheet goods.

On the cheap and KISS side consider a track saw.
