Tommi
Hey guys!, I am starting a project (building a radiator cover) I have choose white oak as my main wood material and have a choice of cherry or walnut for the top of the radiator cover. I will use a danish oil finish, just wondering what people would pick! Walnut or cherry!
Chestnut
Walnut and white oak pair well. IMO cherry not so much. Too much harsh contrast wit the different grain structures and styles.

wtnhighlander
While I agree with the above statements, I think the shape and texture of the end product's design might influence the decision. The real question is, what does your significant other choose?
Coop
I guess I should have asked, what is a radiator cover?
Eric Anderson
Coop, I think its some hot water contraption that them northerners use to keep warm while we are on on patio's drinking margaritas.
