gee-dub
I heard that Nancy passed this morning. Many of you may know her from her work, her writing, and her contributions to Fine Woodworking magazine. She fought the good fight. I will miss her wit and wisdom.
Coop
Don’t know that I have heard or read her but I will look her up. May her legacy live on. Thanks.
Popular Post gee-dub
I am realizing that Nancy flew under a lot of folks radar. She had a multi-decade career in a field where I have only been an enthusiastic hobbyist. This is a nice human interest piece that gives a look into her life and work.
Chet
I have read some of her articles and one of her books. The stories in her book of dealing with some of her clients makes her a saint in my mind. I would have strangled some of them for their attitudes. She also strikes me as being a fun person to have a beer with. Rest in Peace Nancy.
gee-dub
On 8/30/2022 at 9:05 AM, Chet said: I would have strangled some of them for their attitudes. Amen. She is recalled by many as being a person of integrity. She stood behind what she did no matter what you asked for. Her "real life" accounts of running a woodworking business should be text books at trade schools.
