bradleyheathhays
I've got some plastic attached to glazed tile with the high temp hot glue sticks and I need to get it all off to make like new again. Any suggestions for getting hot glue off tile? I'm thinking flash freeze the glue with an upside down turned can of something, spewing out the propellant, and then quickly scrape with a plastic spatula or mud knife. Not sure what product in a can I should use though. Any other ideas?
Tpt life
Look for gum remover. Those cans will not have undesirable contents, but just the uncompression of gas that will flash freeze gum.
Dave H
Maybe dry ice? Set the dry ice on the hot glue then scrape, I'm no expert I'm not even sure where you get dry ice.
Dave H
Another idea that I just thought of is, when I was a kid my dad made home made ice cream the hand cranked machine used ice and salt to super chill the ice cream, maybe a zip lock bag of crushed ice and some salt could chill the hot clue enough to scrape off...I know where you could find those. BonPacific
Isopropyl Alcohol will break a hot glue bond, should work for pulling off some residue on tile. I usually use 90+, just because that's what I keep on hand.

Sophia0110
Your idea of using a flash freeze technique with a can of compressed air or freeze spray could work well. Another option could be to apply heat to the glue with a hairdryer or heat gun to soften it before attempting to scrape it off with a plastic tool.
