Portable Workbench Is Finished

Finally finished my workbench today. Time to start filling up the drawers...lol

Now that’s sweet! Well done! Is there a reason the top overlaps the base on one end more than the other or is the camera angle?

Needed a 12" overhang for the vise, and on the other end, it will cover an 8" shelf I'll build on the outside to hold my glue up materials. So the top was built around those two...I wanted a 6' top, so the cabinet was built around my other measurement requirements.

The entire workbench is built out of quarter sawn red oak.

Looks like a very sturdy work station, and the grain flow across the drawer fronts is an excellent aesthetic touch.

In the last picture it looks like the top has two tiers/layers?

No, that was just the top sitting on my other workbench, getting ready to install.

Sorry it took so long to see your question. The entire workbench, minus the Baltic Birch drawers, was made out of quarter sawn red oak.
