That stapler was built when Senco guns were built to last forever.  I still have several that I bought in 1975 that are still working.

I had that problem with an MII that I use carb cleaner on the little spring loaded plungers that keep the flap closed.

I bought a used MIII off ebay that someone made a little metal strap held in place with two allen head machine screws over that flap.  I've never had to take it off because the gun has always worked fine.  I still wonder if it's necessary, but that gun has never jambed.

I have not seen a Senco go down that was not dropped and cracked. They still make rebuild kits for most guns, including the new ones. If the stapler is not flushing staples, I’d check the hammer and look for a rebuild kit. Worn strike faces and leaking seals could both cause that issue.

That plywood must be pretty popular. Within a week they sold a whole bundle and now I’m waiting a week to get more. Has a heavy enough top and bottom that it doesn’t flake off like the finish plywood at HD does, I hope Menards keeps it full time for future projects..
