BillyJack
Looking for Senco staples. “No longer available” . Menards has them but not in the 1 1/8 size I want and is the most common size in the cabinet world… Amazon will have it , but it’s $10 more a box.. Boy, do I miss my suppliers…
pkinneb
Fwiw Menards may order you what you want if they stock the brand.
BillyJack
Lowe’s had it, Home Depot had it. Looks like they are all going Metabo..
Tom King
I always liked Senco fasteners the best. It seems like the glue they use on the legs is much better than any of the other manufacturers. For those that don't know, the glue on the legs heats up on the way in, softening it as it goes in, and then it sets up hard. To me, it was much harder to pull out a Senco fastener than others I've used. Some stainless steel medium crown staples don't have any glue on them, but I'm not sure Senco even makes them any more. BillyJack
A lot of trim carpenters went to PC nails with the 15 guage, but I don’t like swap around. Can’t say they had troubles , but Bostitch is another story.. Ive got a bunch of this and that and need to check my inventory..
Tom King
I have quite an accumulation of brands too. Most often, I bought what I could get when I needed it, and rarely in that situation was it exactly what I wanted.
BillyJack
I started sticking with the older Senco brand. I bought a Bostitch brand nailer and it lasted a month and blew a gasket. I decided to just buy a shop brand and forget about the rest. Other trades prefer other brands , but that’s understandable.. I won’t buy Senco red and I’m still looking for a “back” gun for cabinets..
