Trouble with Epoxy

I am making an Epoxy kitchen table and cracked the epoxy. The issue is it didn’t crack all the way through so the top of the epoxy is fine. There is an air gap between the wood top and the first layer of epoxy. Can I drill a hole to fill the air gap with epoxy or use a Dremel to cut down all the way to the wood and just feel the hole back with epoxy? If you could let me know what you think would be the best way to solve the issue it would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

Drill a tiny hole through the epoxy at each end of the fault. Then use a vacuum at one hole and a syringe of epoxy at the other suck epoxy into the void. When cured, sand and buff out the surface.
