Juicegoose
I've got an old Stanley marking guage with the pins and honestly don't care for it much. The guage tends to rip the fibers instead of cutting them when marking. I noticed Tommy Macs nice marking guage with the hock blade and immediately started drooling. I can't find where to buy the thing though. Can anyone give me a heads up on this. Also if you've got one do you like if over other guages? alindsey
I think, either because he had to because of contracts with PBS or lack of time, he had to let the Major League Tools thing go. I have a set of his tools. The bench bat is my go-to mallet. The marking gauge is also very nice. Haven't used the paring blocks. I don't use the marking gauge any more since I bought the Cosman gauge. If you're unable to track them down via Tommy let me know. I'd probably be willing to part with mine.
