TexasScott
Hi all,I got the inspiration to make this tray after watching one of Marc's videos(Halloween Router Bowl)I believe it was and that got me looking at Eagle America's site and I decided to order the Templates and the Router Bowl bit to make some trays..I have made a single tray and this double tray so far..I'm gonna tackle the full tray with all 4 segments here in a week or two...The Ramekin in the middle is 4 inches in diameter and holds 8 ounces... I made this tray from Red Curly Oak and Black Walnut...I finished it with 3 coats of G.F. Salad Bowl Finish... I like the way it turned out except for the thickness of the walls...There about 3/8 of an inch,I wanted them to be a 1/2 inch but slipped up on the Band saw... I also put 4 Non-Skid feet on the bottom to keep it from sliding around on the table..It is 2-1/4 inches tall,16 inches wide and 11 inches deep..Thanks for taking a look and let me know what you all think.. sbarton22
I like how you integrated the 2 wood types. Nice upgrade on the idea.
